Kit is thrilled to be back with Rev. Jesse Jennings and friends. Not only is Kit blessing with being able to play for everyone at the Creative Life Center this will be the weekend that she completes her certified Practioner training.
This is the first Austin showing of this "girls-night-out" concert. San Antonio, Texas-based performing songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Dana Clark, jazz vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Kelly O'Brien, and percussionist Wave Harless join Kit in celebrating the joys and heartaches of life from the unique perspective of women's music. Original tunes, familiar classics and a few surprises!

The "Heart of a Woman" is a collaborative musical labor of love with performing songwriters Kit Holmes (Austin, TX) and Dana Clark (San Antonio, TX), vocalist-sublime/multi-instrumentalist Kelly O'Brien and percussionist Wave Harless (The Texas Ladybugs). Tonight, bassist/guitarist Kevin Lewis will be an honory "heart" with the group.
Expect some sass, some brass and some deep-lovin' grooves from the ladies. Honoring music from a women's perspecitve about life, love and everything in between you'll hear songs from Bessie Smith & Billie Holiday to Bonnie Raitt and Jewel as well as Kit Holmes and Dana Clark originals.
